In my line of work, I needed a reliable, light-weight bolt cutter still small enough to be tucked in a coat pocket. Anything larger and it's a problem if you need to run,climb or carry a lot of stuff. The rubber grips give you a grippy but fingerprint-proof surface. The jaws don't seem to be fully hardened but the softer steel makes for a quieter cut. And if these need to be tossed in a hurry, they're cheap enough to not sweat the cost. I go through a lot of these and they're a great value. Buy 'em!
