Customer Review: Best tape measure I have ever owned

I have had this tape measure for about 18 months now. I have had other good quality tapes that do a good job of measuring inside and outside measurements, but the belt clip on this one is what makes it unique. Regular belt clips often fall off (usually when I'm at the top of the ladder). The clip on this tape has a piece that securely fits over your belt and the tape is removed by pressing a lever. The tape slides and locks into position when returned to the holder.
Another nice feature is the top locking mechanism. Most tapes have a small lever on the front that is difficult to engage hard enough to hold the tape and then difficult to disengage. This tape is very easy to lock and unlock.
The tape is very easy to read and is very durable. Although after 18 months of use mine has scratches and chunks missing from the protective rubber, it still functions perfectly.
