Tools and Hardware Reviews of Windex Outdoor All-in-One Glass Cleaning ToolCustomer Review: This didn't work for me... Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this product after watching the commercial and since I regularly clean about 30 4'X 8'windows with dawn dish soap and some elbow grease I thought I'd give this a shot and see if it worked as advertised, I followed the instructions, soaked about 10 windows, scrubbed them with the pad and then rinse, easy enough I thought, but when the windows dried the windows looked pretty bad, lots of streaks and water spots, I thought I had used it wrong, read the instructions again tried it once more on about 4 windows and same result, so needless to say I had to go back to my old good method, dish soap and microfiber clothes...I wouldn't buy it again, I still have one of the scrubbing pads brand new in its package, I'll try it again just to make sure this is truly worthless...
Customer Review: Was worried, but it works great Summary: 5 Stars
We have gardens in front of our house so it has been a major pain for me to wash windows. I have to get a ladder, but it's hard to get it in the shrubs without breaking something - big pain!
I read reviews of this and saw some people complaining about streaks. I wouldn't want that, but others said it's fine, so I tried it (against my wife's opinion, by the way).
Here it works perfectly. Must be a "hard water" issue for the streaks (we have "soft" water here).
I don't need a ladder now (single floor home). I used to do the outside once a year when I wash the vinyl siding; I'll do them every month now.
I wish I had something as good for the vinyl.
Customer Review: Agree with Mr DoItEasy Summary: 5 Stars
I couldn't agree more with Mr DoItEasy...please buy this product so Windex will keep making it. Yeah, our motives are self-serving, but this thing is just that great.
The back of our house faces West, and includes several 3'X6' windows. No matter how good we think we cleaned those windows before, the afternoon sun just showed us the streaks. After cleaning with the Windex All In One, the windows are amazingly clean, and literally streak free! Plus, it takes less than half the time using a sponge, squeegee, and/or any number of other items. Very seldom would I go out on a limb and recommend something, but you've got to give this thing a try.
Customer Review: Great Cleaning Tool Summary: 4 Stars
I hesitated at first to buy this tool and didn't buy any extra refills, just in case it didn't work as well as it claimed. But have since bought more refills. This works great for someone who looks up against washing windows. Who doesn't? It is quick and easy and my kids love to use it. My windows have never been so clean, mainly because they are now getting done way more often, because the job doesn't seem like such a big mountain. A must have for busy moms. I gave it a 4 star, since it's probably not making my windows cleaner than my mother-in-law's are. But she still washes and windexes them by hand. A little more particular than me;)
Customer Review: What a mess Summary: 1 Stars
My husband is the king of window cleaners. He uses a special formula and a squeegee to get his windows sparkling clean. So he was intrigued with the new Windex Outdoor All in One product. He used it exactly according to package directions. What a mess. The windows looked fine while still wet, but as they dried they looked very hazy and streaky. AND it took two additional cleanings to get all the hazy gunk off the windows. I'm not sure if the product reacts poorly with the hard water common in our area, or if it's just a poor product overall. But I know we will never buy another package of it. Fool us once, shame on you . . .
