Tools and Hardware Reviews of Black Porc-a-Fix Porcelain High Heat Touch up Kit Repairs Porcelain and Enamel: Chips, Cracks, and Scratches in Stoves, Fireplaces, Barbecue Grills, Tubs, and SinksCustomer Review: Wonder in a little bottle- Summary: 3 Stars
When my granite countertop was installed to finish off my brand new kitchen the contractors chipped my new black-top stove. I was upset. I didn't know what I was going to do about this noticable chip and I was worried about it eventually rusting. I was thinking that I may have to 'bondo' it and if that would be effective and attractive. I started doing some research on this type of damage and found this Black Porc-a-Fix product. I wasn't expecting too much but when I tried it according to the instructions I was amazed! It worked! It really really works! And it was easy. Okay, so I haven't summoned up the courage to do the sanding and reapply part... but even the initial application was a huge improvement. You will need a steady hand and an artist's touch to make sure you fill in just enough just right but with a little patience this product works wonders.
