Customer Review: Solves the problem!

I was tired of my toddler toilet insert ring leaving a wet ring that I had to constantly clean up. My twin girls also did not like handling the ring. This seat solved the problem. It is lightweight enough for them to lift and close the lid and they can sit on it comfortably. Although it is plastic, it feels quite sturdy and comfortable for an adult as well. The only drawback - the curved toddler seat will touch some adults in the back while seated. This is a minor complaint compared to the other problems I was having! This product has improved the overall look of my guest bathroom and has made it useful for everyone, not just the toddlers! I am considering purchasing another for my master bath to avoid the messy ring there as well! Installation was very simple and completed in minutes by me. Now if I could just solve the stepstools-in-the-way issues, my bathrooms would be perfect again!Customer Review: Would now rate this a 2 star

We love these seats and have them installed on all 3 of our toilets. Now we don't have to worry about where to store the children's seats or worry about the kids dropping their seats in the toilet. :) The child seat does NOT "poke" an adult when it is up.
Also, love the quiet close and the fact that you can take it off to clean under back where it attaches to the toilet.
Plan on getting these seats for the new house too!
Kohler had to replace one of the seats because one of the "latches" that keep them on the toilet broke. They all now have weak "latches" which allows them to move around on the toilet base. We will not be buying these for the new house and no longer recommend them. We'll be looking for a different brand that doesn't use cheap plastic.

For all the parents trying to find that 'one perfect trainer seat' - this is THE one (for elongated toilets of course). I have it for 3 years and it still functions the way when it was new. The slow drop mechanism as well as the quality are excellent. The best thing was that my daughter, who was 2 1/2 years when I bought this seat, got potty trained because of this seat. When I put the Kohler seat, she felt she 'was a big girl and had a potty just like mommy and daddy'.
The seat is perfect for a child. I had tried the typical 'princess' or Dora ones that we find in almost every baby store. Those seats have smaller opening (pee can spread/come out) and also not as hygienic as this Kohler seat.
We are going to buy another one - and I see that now they have color choices too.

This toilet seat is a little pricey, but worth every penny! Potty seats that just sit on top of the toilet seat don't fit well on an elongated toilet. And I hate how they drip all over when you take them on and off. This keeps the mess where it belongs... in the toilet! The toddler seat portion is cleverly designed to contain messes. The inside edge curves down into the toilet. I had bought a similar seat at Target for my non-elongated toilet. But since the inside edge didn't curve down like this one, my son would pee out the front of it and get the back of his pants wet. Can't tell you how much dirty laundry this Kohler seat has saved me. And the Amazon price is the best price on the internet.Customer Review: Great back saver

This is definitely the best option for a small toddler who is potty trained. Our daughter is tiny and has been potty trained since age 1 1/2 and we've never found anything quite as convenient. She loves that she won't fall in and can climb onto the toilet without the baby seat falling off the toilet. And, with this seat, we don't have the problem of having to wash off misdirected pee as we had to with the portable seats. The quiet close function on the toddler ring is a great asset. The funny thing about the seat is that I'm just over 5 feet and I can even use it with the small ring on. Very convenient for all.
