Customer Review: Doesn't fit round toilets!!!

My 2.5 year old daughter is currently potty-learning, but I do not enjoy touching one of those removable toilet ring inserts. I ordered this seat, and while it looked really nice and I really wanted it to work, it just did NOT fit our round toilet. This seat is made for elongated toilets ONLY. I emailed Kohler to see if they make this toilet seat to fit round toilets, and they do NOT, so don't order this seat if you have a round toilet like we do. I promptly returned it and ordered the Xpress Trainer Pro seat instead, which was cheaper and seems to be just as nice and fits our round toilet perfectly.Customer Review: perfect for children

This is the 2nd time we've gotten this seat. It is perfect for those with children, no supporting them while potty training and increases childrens independence earlier. My 7 yr old still feels more comfortable using the smaller seat. Quiet shut lid is wonderful. Easy snap off makes cleaning a snap. Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is the "snaps" that attatch the seat broke off making the seat loose. We have 5 kids, 18 to 5, and the older boys ( 180lb.'s) are not "graceful" in their movements:) It took alot of abuse. 2nd seat working like a champ! I bought 2 of these at Home Depot. After 14 months, one of the covers came off in my hand. Further inspection revealed that the plastic used in the hinge cylinders that govern the closing had virtually disintegrated. That which was not already powder could be rendered into powder with very little effort or pressure. I checked the other seat - one that is used very little - and though it was not in quite the same condition, it was obvious that the plastic component would be there soon. I feel silly being so excited about a potty-related item, but I LOVE this potty seat! I wish I knew about it when my daughter first started potty training. No more "setting up" the removable potty seat on our elongated bowl each time, and then having it lay around on our bathroom floor after. Super easy to clean (especially around the bolts because the whole unit can come off!) and looks nicer than the brands with the silver hardware, in my opinion. My 2 1/2 year-old is so proud that she can go all by herself now, and loves her "real big girl seat."Customer Review: ExcellentProduct!

We are VERY pleased with the Transitions Quiet-Close Toilet Seat! We have a Kohler toilet with an elongated bowl. This seat fits perfectly and installed quickly. The quiet close feature is a great plus! My 3 year old son loves how much easier this is to use verses having to grab a toddler seat and put it on the bowl, then climb up...all while trying to "hold it in" until he can get up there:). Plus, when he gets older, we can just take the transition piece out. I like that it looks nice...one less primary colored eye-sore in the house, lol.
