It's not 1000 dollar toilet nor did it cost that much. Materials are OK. Key for me was the rubber on the bottom to keep the seat from sliding on the bowl like our stock seat did. My boy is still too small for the kid seat so I can't comment on it.Customer Review: love this toilet seat

This is a great product that has helped our potty-trainee graduate from diapers to "big girl". Not to mention the convience it's been for me not to have to clean traditional a training potty every time she goes. Worth the investment!
