This electric broom is fantastic. We have a large span of tile and hardwood flooring and the Karcher is the perfect daily touch up tool between heavy cleanings. We use it two or three times a day to pick up crumbs, bits of grass and whatever else our dogs or kids are able to track in. This is an ideal replacement for the "electric broom" which is generally noisy, corded and ineffective.
The only shortfall of this unit is its inability to clean edges and corners. But again, as a touch up tool, it is perfect.

I bought this because my husband wanted it. When I opened it, I thought it was too lightweight to really work. But I was wrong. I'm really happy with it for quick-cleaning the kitchen and bathroom floors. In fact, it even picks up surface debris from rugs like the one by the front door that catches all the sand from the steps (depending on the rug, you may only be able to sweep in one direction). I have been using it for several months and have no complaints. In fact, I will probably buy another one for the basement.Customer Review: We love our Karcher K50 electric broom

It's a great little machine. We have dark wood flooring in our kitchen and dining room, so I use it at least once a day, sometimes more. The first time I used it, I thought it wasn't working right, then figured out I was using it backwards. So I penned in an arrow and "front" on the top of it. Also, figured out that twising the handle clockwise tightened everything up so it didn't come apart. This was a great buy. And we got it so quickly.Customer Review: No easier than a regular vacuum

I had hoped that this would bridge the gap between my dust buster (not much suction; have to bend over to vacuum) and my regular vacuum cleaner (big and heavy, stuffed in a closet). Unfortunately, the Karcher doesn't have much more suction than my dust buster, and it's much more unwieldy and heavy than I was hoping for. It also doesn't fit into corners or small spaces. I found this to be completely ineffective at picking up the profuse amounts of dog hair that my dog produces every day. It would roll right over the clumps and leave them there. I don't understand how other people got such good results. Also, the unit is quite poorly designed, the handle does not stay connected to the broom base and in a word I would call this "a piece of junk".... sorry.... I returned it. Very disappointed!
