Tools and Hardware Reviews of Kawasaki 840110 Black 19.2-Volt Drill KitCustomer Review: Bang for your bucks Summary: 5 Stars
I think the cost of this 19.2 volt drill is cheaper than buying 2 batteries for my 14v drill. The speed is variable by the depression of the trigger which is really helpful for not stripping the screw head. Even though it is not made by Kawasaki but only carries the co. name it is still a good deal. I only purchased it about a month ago but it came in handy for installing our new pvc porch railings..
Customer Review: Reliable and consistent Summary: 5 Stars
I've had this drill for 3 years now and used it on just about every home improvement project. The batteries hold up well, and the two speed is very helpful. Well-balanced as well.
It delivers a lot of power for the money. As another reviewer mentioned, the switch is reversed compared to most drills I've used in the past (dewalt). It has been a very reliable and powerful drill.
Customer Review: Weak Summary: 2 Stars
If you're looking for something cheap that will give you endless hours of frustration... then this is your product. The battery stays charged for ~8 hours, without activity... so unless it's constantly in the charging station, each time you reach to use your drill... it will take about an hour to get a charge, which typically makes me put off the project I was just about to do...
Customer Review: Great for the money Summary: 3 Stars
My wife got me this in place of a more expensive unit that I didn't think was necessary. This unit has been great until YESTERDAY. It still works great, even the batteries seem good, but now when I squeez the trigger all the way in the drill stops and I have to let off a SMIDGE> Sounds like there is a SPED SWITCH problem based on the previous review.
Customer Review: Bad customer service Summary: 2 Stars
I have one of the pre-recall drills which originally came with a 1 hour charger. The manufacturer recalled the charger (batteries would catch on fire while charging) and sent me a replacement 3-5 hour charger. 5 hour recharge times? I'm not impressed. A good company would have eaten the cost to replace whatever necessary to keep the 1 hour charge time.
