Have been using these mineral pads for 3 yrs in the same humidifier and it helps greatly to reduce mineral buildup.Using these plus a water treatment keeps our humidifier clean in a condition to where we can go over a week between cleanup. I used water filtered thru the tap but that can be costly considering the cost of filters. great product and inexpensive.Customer Review: Advertising Wrong

I ordered these pads, thinking they would fit in my Vicks Humidifier, which is the exact humidifier they advertise you to buy with these pads. When I received them, the box doesn't even say they work on a Vicks product and they are way too big. I say these are falsely advertised. I purchased these to use with my Honeywell Humidifier. They are great. Last reasonably long. 5 pak came with the humidifier and I ran out, so I ordered more.
Definitely keeps the humidifier from getting build - up.
Highly recommend them if your humidifier calls for them. GET THEM. Winter is coming!!

I bought these for the Honeywell Humidifer I bought but the unit is so easy to clean I don't think I need-plus the directions I got said to put it under the heating coil and I didn't want to do that for fear it would heat up (???) if the unit ran dry and maybe become harmful.Customer Review: Better have it but not necessary

I don't know if I must use these pads after not using it for months.
When I use it obviously I can see it get dirty as time goes by but the unit also gets dirty. This winter I didn't use these pads and realized that the unit gets dirty with same amount and speed.
