Got tired of replacing the board cover every few months due to burns that ended up as holes. Had this product for almost a month now and it is indeed scorch resistant! The texture is good, however, it doesn't fit the ironing board. Also, the piece that secures the cover to the ironing board was cut when it arrived...so, we're not able to use it. My ironing board is the largest size this pad will fit. It fits tightly and correctly. It doesn't move, or bunch-up when in use. It is absolutely perfect. Came on time and in excellent condition. No damage in shipping.Customer Review: fits well, easy to put on, be sure to smooth underneath lining

It fits well, is easy to put on the ironing board, but do be sure to smooth out the underlining as you put it on so you will not have wrinkles under the cover. Once this is done it will not have to be smoothed again.Customer Review: Best product

This is the best ironing board cover I have ever found. It has a snug fit that is EASY to install. The padding is just right and the cover stays in place. I gave two as gifts and ordered a spare for myself.
