I bought this CO detector a few months ago when my furnace was having a problem. I was hoping to monitor the Co level. the unit has never indicated any CO it always displays zero. so I assume my furnace is okay but would be more reassured if the display indicated a few ppm above zero . one time it displayed an error MSG Which has not recurred since I reset it. unit seems very well priced and good valueCustomer Review: Carbon Monoxide Alarm Review

I purchased the Kidde KN-COPP-B Front Load Battery-Operated Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Digital Display recently.....It operates as described and was easy to set up. The digital display makes it easy to check levels of Carbon Monoxide that are below the threshold necessary for a loud audio response. A low-battery level indicator gives visual and auditory feedback as well........overall very good.Customer Review: Great CO detector at a great price.

I'm reviewing the Kidde 900-0146-004 Nighthawk Carbon Monoxide Alarm. This unit was incredibly easy to set up straight out of the box. It's also easy to hang. And for those that do no wish to hang it up on a wall, it has a small "kick stand" in the back that enables it to stand by itself on a shelf. The unit is simple to use and has an LED that is easy to read. I'm very happy with this purchase.Customer Review: A must-have for older homes

This is a very useful tool. I live in an 50-year old house and sometimes I fear that there might be a gas leakage somewhere. The first day, a cold winter day and all the windows and doors were closed all day long while the heater was on, it showed a peak value of 24, which means that at one point there was a bit of CO floating around but within safety limits, and the unit was likely functional.Customer Review: KN-COPP-B Carbon Monoxide Alarm

This replaced my old First Alert Alarm. I liked this one mainly because the old one I had did not offer the digital display and also I can replace the batteries from the front without taking it off it's mount but with the First Alert I had to in order to replace the battery. Shipping from Amazon only took five days using there free shipping. Using this item since March 14, 2009.
