Almost did not order these based on the packaging mentioned by the orders below. The company must have heeded your complaints, though, because when I received them they were each packaged in their own, tied off bread bag. They seem very sanitary and are a very good size for the loaves I bake.
So why 4/5 then?
Make sure you order in bulk, because the S&H on the order is a little pricey (doubles the cost for a single order) and does not honor Amazon's Prime rate. I ordered enough to last me a couple years and the price was very reasonable.
