I initially bought this for my kitchen counter-tops which are cream-white and stain easily & are difficult to scrub clean. However, this paper is not suitable for kitchen counter-tops: it absorbs turmeric stains and it is made of some kind of plastic/vinyl, it can't handle heat. The directions on the backpeel of the paper warned about problems with heat. Unfortunately, it isn't mentioned on the product details before purchase.
So I used it finally for my bathroom counter tops! The paper sticks easily, you can cut it to the desired shape. It comes off easily too, without leaving any kind of residue. Also, it is water-resistant so I can wipe off the surface easily without soaking it. Lovely utility for all surfaces which need not be heat resistant, a total no for kitchen tops though :-)
