This is a replacement strap for my messenger bag. Or as my wife calls it my man purse or murse. It is just what I needed: there is a rough grip material that is on the under side of the padded section so there is no more sliding off my shoulder. The same section is curved so that it 'fits' over the shoulder. The length is adjustable enough to allow for a sling over or over the head use.Customer Review: Does the job

This is a professional strap designed for use with specific Klein equipment and for that use it would likely rate a top five star rating. I bought two to replace worthless straps that came with a tank sprayer, so it took some modifications to make them work properly. Once I figured that out though, they do the job and will likely last a lot longer than the tank sprayer.Customer Review: Can you say Rugged? (w/ a capital R)

I bought this strap for my duffel bag for a trip to europe and I can confidently say that the strap will outlast my eastpak duffel bag. Sure metal clips, comfortable pad, and extremely rugged design & materials make for the perfect shoulder strap.
I would use this thing as a seatbelt. Period. It will not break.

I have purchased the Klein padded adjustable shoulder strap twice when my previous straps that came with my shoulder briefcases broke. I have been very happy with how it looks, feels and how sturdy it is. The black color is very neutral and will blend in with just about any briefcase you are using. This seems to be a good strap, with one exception. My old strap had a metal swivel that connected the strap with the hooks that enabled me to untwist the strap while it was on my shoulder. In order to untwist it now, you must twist the entire strap. That being said, I don't regret my purchase.
