I bought 2 leak frogs, after my washing machine caused water leaking in my cellar. Gave one to my daughter for her basement. Well it woke her up at 4 a.m. after her hot water tank started leaking. She shut off the water and leak frog stopped what would have been major damage. Great little gadget!!!!Customer Review: I wish I had this earlier!

My husband and I have had two water issues in our condo in the past, and I found this product a few months ago. I wish I had it back then!! My husband had to replace our toilet tank, and we left it in there since it still had a very small leak. We'd left a towel there to absorb the water until we were able to fix it, and once the towel got too wet and the water began running onto the floor, the Leakfrog went off. We have a small washer/dryer in our condo, too, and we usually keep ours there, but now we're going to buy some extra ones to place in other areas. Leak frog water alarm worked as expected. I installed it under my sink, and it went off a few days later when the dishwasher line started leaking. At the time I bought the leak frog, it was the best deal for the price, when compared to other water alarms. I also bought them as christmas gifts for friends.Customer Review: Handy little fellow!

Hearing about this on another site, I figured if I could find it on amazon.com, and there it was! About a week after I bought it and put it in the basement (I live in a house that's 150 years old. Basement leaks are commonplace) we had some really bad rain and low and behold, from the first floor of my house I was able to hear the alarm all the way from the basement, went down, and was able to get things off the ground to prevent them from getting wet. A very well spent $10!Customer Review: alert all plumbers!

I gave one to every member in my family. True story: plumbers were working on an outside wall adjacent to my laundry room which is my leak frog's "pad". While I was away from my house, the plumbers called to tell me an alarm was going off in my house. I returned home in 5 minutes to find they had twisted a pipe causing water to begin flooding my laundry room. The leak frog alerted them to the fact something had gone wrong! We wiped up the water and fixed the pipe from the inside of my house! Happy ending. Thanks to leak frog!
