Before "The Frog" we lived in fear of water damage. Now we sleep better and have early warning if any water hits the floor.
We run Elder Care. Over Flow is a part of life here at AsterVilla Elder care in SAC CA. Now "The Frog" keeps watch.
I have ten of them all around the house. I will make a very strong recommendation, get TEN. You will fine lots of places for him.
I have one in: Each sink, next to each bath, under the water heater....
Life after "The Frog" is good. Trust me, you will save in the long run.

I gave one to every member in my family. True story: plumbers were working on an outside wall adjacent to my laundry room which is my leak frog's "pad". While I was away from my house, the plumbers called to tell me an alarm was going off in my house. I returned home in 5 minutes to find they had twisted a pipe causing water to begin flooding my laundry room. The leak frog alerted them to the fact something had gone wrong! We wiped up the water and fixed the pipe from the inside of my house! Happy ending. Thanks to leak frog!Customer Review: Great - can save you money

These are great. I have one by every water source in the house. One went off and alerted me to a leak under a sink that I probably would not have known about until damage was done.
My friend has some and was also alerted to a leak under his sink.
Someone complained because the leak frog was placed in his basement and he didn't hear it on the first floor. It is not like a fire alarm - it beeps loud enough that you can hear it if you are in the area.

Hearing about this on another site, I figured if I could find it on amazon.com, and there it was! About a week after I bought it and put it in the basement (I live in a house that's 150 years old. Basement leaks are commonplace) we had some really bad rain and low and behold, from the first floor of my house I was able to hear the alarm all the way from the basement, went down, and was able to get things off the ground to prevent them from getting wet. Today, we were home for the MLK holiday when we heard beeping from the basement. It took a few seconds to register what it was - LEAK FROG in action. Our water heater had sprung a leak and the frog saved the day. Sure, the $650 the plumbers charged to replace the water heater was tough to swallow, but what if we weren't home, and what it the frog hadn't have let us know the impending doom... Life is good with the frog!
