I typically do not answer requests for reviews however, this product saved me at the least 150 dollars and in this economy that is what is important to me. Everything is in this kit that is needed to repair a worn down drive gear, complete with parts, grease and clear instructions to save yourself some money. There were no directions on replacing your parts so you have to look at your existing door opener and then figure out the order. The replacement parts look like the original parts. My dissatisfaction is with the original parts which are plastic to begin with. I think they should be metal since the load on them is quite heavy. This kit worked great .. In most cases one does not have to replace anything but the gear (worm gear normally not bad). Easy to replace the teflon gear . Can be done in abt an hour. .... little more involved if you decide to replace all the kit parts. May have to remove the door opener from the bracket to do that. Otherwise simple for just the teflon gear.

Instructions were very clear and well labeled. Disassembled garage opener, replaced one of the gears, and put everything back together in less than 2 hours. Kit includes many parts for variety of scenarios but I only needed a couple. Will keep others on hand just in case. The parts kit arrived on time and included adequate instructions to complete the repair. It took a few hours but no major problems. Found that there was a flanged bronze bushing at the end of the motor shaft that had disintegrated allowing the shaft to shift more than it should. Found parts in the kit that replaced the original and opener works great.
