I am in central Florida and it gets in the 20's and 30's at night and my trailer is not that well insulated and the floors and walls can get pretty darn cold. I have always used kerosene but it is over $4.00 a gallon and last year a burned alot of money. I also have used space heaters but you just can't warm up a trailer with those.
The Fahrenheat PT268 will heat up a cold trailer. Very wide open heat exhaust puts alot of heat out at once. I got this thing in a reasonable amount of time and I think I am going to love this thing for a long time. Don't worry about the fan. It pushes a good steady amount of heat and I will be surprised if you have to take this thing off the low setting. Also people should keep in mind that smaller space heaters can get hot cords and be dangerous and radiator heaters don't do as well as they used to and can bust or cause sparks. Working with venomous snakes one day for a comapany I had one bust on me while I had a rattle snake in my hands.
I realy love this thing.
Description of HEATER COMMERCIAL 240VOL
This ultra-power utility convection heater is fan forced, 240V/4000W and 13,650 BTU/hr. It has a thermostat with automatic On/Off setting with an operation indicator light. Safety wires with an operation indicator light. Safety wise it features an overload thermal protector (circuit break) with caution (overheat) indicator light. The power cord is heavy-duty SJT 3-wire, 3-prong jacketed and grounded. The elements are Nichrome wire nonglow. Cabinet is baked enamel steel (dark gray veltex) and black with chrome with a convenient cord wrap handle. Meets O.S.H.A. standards. Actual size 17" H. x 14" W. x 13" D. Made in U.S.A.Heaters Tools
