Tools and Hardware Reviews of FastCap 3rd Hand Support System 57-to-144-Inches, 2-pack #3HAND5Customer Review: Smart man's floorjack Summary: 3 Stars
This particular floorjack/ "3rd hand" is not old hand. It offers some amazingly new and refreshing attributes. We have owned our own construction business for seven-years and would not personally mind vouching for this brave addition to an ever-changing world. Definetly an asset for those normally back-breaking- improbable (if not impossible!)lifting needs associated with a smart construction business.
Customer Review: Okay, but minimum 59 inches? Summary: 3 Stars
These seem okay. There was some minor damage on the plastic of one of them when I got it. Is 59 inches the standard height of the bottom of cabinets? I incorrectly made the assumption that these would be the perfect size. My kitchen has an 8 ft ceiling and I was just replacing the old cabinets, so I wanted to hang them at the same height. They seem like normal cabinet height, but the jacks are too long.
Customer Review: 3rd Hand Summary: 5 Stars
This product is great. I had purchased a couple at a construction trade show a few years ago for sheetrocking ceilings and installing cabinets singlehandedly and needed a few more. They work well for cabinet jacks as well as supporting sheetrock overhead. I use them for holding crown in place, tenting off repair sites to reduce dust and debris getting all over the homeowner's furniture, and many other uses.
Customer Review: Great product, worth ever penny!! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought my first "3rd Hand" last year. I thought I would use it for a specific project (Hanging kitchen cabinets) and never use it again. I just bought 2 more, and I find myself using them all the time. It's really a 3rd hand. I use 2 to hang sheetrock on ceilings and they are excellent when hanging crown moldings and trim. They're very strong and built to last. Great investment for any do-it-yourselfer!
Customer Review: great tool for a variety of jobs Summary: 5 Stars
This tool is everything it claims to be and MORE!!! I've used mine for crown molding, dust barrier, load stabilizer in my truck and holding upper cabinets in place for installations.I also have one that I use for mounting my laser on and it works great. Another creative way I've used it is for holding down hardwood floor boards like a clamp. It's an easy tool to use and the comstruction is of top quality.
