I tried a replacement and the same thing happened in just one day of operation!!!!
Go get something else not by this manufacuture Lasko!

We are very pleased with the way this fan functions in our garage where I normally groom our 3 Irish Setters. It's safe for the dogs and powerful enough to keep the area nice and cool!
