This fan does indeed have two settings, they should probably be named 'Very Low' and 'Even Lower'. It is small and looks nice on a desk but if what you need is something to move air around (rather than a desk ornament) I would recommend a different product, this one just does not have enough strength.Customer Review: small wonder?

doesn't move or put out much air, as is suggested in the name of the product. The oscillation for this unit allows it to move what appears to be a total of one-half inch in each direction. This is a really nice fan. I'm bringing it with me to college so I need something small but powerful. This little fan will fit perfectly on my desk. The fan easy fits on a small computer desk, circulates air quietly, and has the benefit of a low and high speed. The slim, small size makes this fan unobtrusive. I needed a desk fan, then a next to couch fan, then a desk fan for at home, and then I fan for on my night stand. High quality, quiet. Could not be happier. Oh and the footprint and vertical tower design is what I was after. Takes up very little space. Good to have at work .
