Customer Review: Perfect for cooling my PowerPC

Perfect for cooling my PowerPC which generates a significant amount of heat, nice in the winter for heating up a small office, but during summer the heat is a killer.
The fan is is big enough to blow down 3 surfaces on the MAC (bottom, front and side) and move the heat away from the computer and desk where it dissipates faster (and not on my feet and legs).
I have it on low and can not hear it unless the computer is totally off.
Perfect purchase.

I use this fan for my hobbies which require a lot of use of various glue. It's a great fan! Very quiet and has a solid, heavy feel to it. The pivoting is a great feature and the various speed settings are perfect. I've used it regularly for years now and it is holding up fine. Sadly it looks as if this product might have been discontinued. I just picked up an extra to keep on the shelf in case my fan ever dies. Highly recommended.Customer Review: not that quiet, but quiet.

First the bad news. Its not silent like others have claimed. Now the good news. Its not silent but very quiet. the squirrel cage design has been used in furnaces for a long time and for 2 good reasons. They are quiet and efficient. this thing moves some serious air for its size and noise output. side intakes allow for unusual placement where regular fans won't work. it is little bit bigger than it seems. check measurements.Customer Review: Quiet and efficient

We bought these little fans when there was a heat wave and no one could sleep. The heat wave was over by the time they arrived but we still had a couple of chances to use them. It is very quiet and cools nicely, so perfect for having on while sleeping. Only unfortunate thing is that I thought it pivoted by itself which it doesn't, but that's ok for the price I got the price I got them for.Customer Review: Quiet, perfect for office use

I keep this fan at my desk at work, and I think it is perfect for that. The Low setting is practically silent (similar noise to some CPU fans). It doesn't move a ton of air at this setting, but it is definitely sufficient for an office where we have AC anyway. My one complaint would be that the High setting is significantly louder, so I keep mine on Low all the time.
