We own a 26ft travel trailer. We bought this heater to supplement the gas furnace on the trailer. While camping in 40 degree temps at night this heater drastically reduced the amount of time the furnace kicked on during the night. Most of the time the heater itself on the low setting produced plenty of heat to maintain a comfortable temperature. The heater operates quietly. The heater does draw several amps on the high setting, so you do have to turn it off while running the microwave or hair dryer to keep from tripping the circuit breaker. Overall I have been pleased with the heaters performance. It was the perfect choice for our camper.Customer Review: Fan is Noisy!

I've had this Lasko heater for 2+ years and it has worked like a charm... reliable, durable, a little soldier churning out heat. Controls are easy to use and there is a fan only setting for hot days. I keep it near me so the heat output is fine (not trying to heat up the entire room).
What I don't like about it though (and hence my 3 star rating) is the noise from the fan --- it's soooo loud; too loud to have in my office when I'm on the phone, and too loud in the room when the tv is on. If you want white noise when you fall asleep, this is the fan for you. But I'm looking for a new QUIET heater to replace this unit.

I bought this heater a few weeks ago because of a cold draft coming into my bedroom. It works well for the price point--it pours out heat, but it can also get HOT if you like to sit only a few feet away from it like I do. I keep it on high because I don't feel nearly as much heat even if I only turn it down a little bit. The heater is also pretty loud for its size (like a loud fan), but I kind of like the white noise because I am a college student and blocking out noise is helpful, especially at night. I really like the small size and portability of the model. Though it could use some improvements, I think it does a great job for the price.Customer Review: Unreliable quality control

I've bought two of these in the last two months: the thermostat on the first one was quirky - sometimes it was okay, other times it wouldn't shut off and would just keep heating until I turned it off and back on again - I took it back and got a replacement - in less than two days this one vibrates so loud it wakes me up and frequently the fan continues to run after the heat shut off until I tap the top with my fingertip then it shuts right off until next time - this one is going back, too. When it works right it's quite nice for whatever that's worth. And, the angle of oscillation is so slight as to be a basically worthless feature.Customer Review: Loud little heater!

I bought this even though there was a similar one for less money (because the reviews said that it was loud). This was purchased to go into a kids room at night. I was disappointed to find that it didn't have an auto-off in case it tipped over. It is also so loud that my kids wouldn't have been able to sleep with it when set to the thermostat. If I had left it on consistently it would have acted as a white noise, however this would make the room too hot. Set on thermostat control, the constant on/off self regulation would wake the kids up-- it is TOO LOUD!
