Tools and Hardware Reviews of Stanley High-Velocity Blower Fan, 655702

Customer Review: I'm a fan of these fans...
Summary: 5 Stars

I've own one of these things for a couple of years now, and during the summer months it pretty much stays turned on all the time. So far it still working great.

These high velocity squirrel cage blower fans put out a lot of air and while they do make some noise, I think that it's less than what a traditional blade type fan capable of similar air flow makes. The unit is pretty heavy duty and come with a built in power receptacle with a resettable circuit breaker.

Haven't seen them in Wal-Mart for awhile and when I have, they were here today and gone the next. So when I saw them in the store last week, I immediately grabbed two of them and dumped them in my cart.

Customer Review: What a great little air mover.
Summary: 5 Stars

Just purchased our second Stanley High Velocity Blower and it's every bit as effective as the other one I've happily been using for several years. These really are very nicely designed and built using quality plastics, with a long & robust power cord, handy power outlets and carrying handle. Very quiet for the amount of air they move. Quiet enough to use in the house. In fact, I bought the second one to keep in the garage, as our other one has been in use upstairs (indoors) for a long while now.

It's not often that such a simple thing impresses enough to warrant a review, but Stanley has a real winner here and I feel they deserve the kudos. You'll be very happy you bought this.

Customer Review: Works better than "room fans"
Summary: 5 Stars

Once you get past the ugly industrial appearance of the Stanley High Velocity Blower, you'll come to love how great a room fan it is. Not only does it blow air around with so much greater force than any ole box or pedestal fan, but it's actually pretty quiet, too. It's easy to aim in all kinds of directions (hint - aiming it straight up makes the room fresh and airy without blowing the papers off your desk) and it's small and light. We haven't managed to wear it out yet, even tho we leave it running 24/7 in our house. Also, the gobs of pet hair and household dust that it picks up haven't killed the motor yet - we just pull out the tufts of fur and turn the fan back on.

Customer Review: it moves air...like a fan would
Summary: 4 Stars

this fan is very good at doing what fans do, move air, but alittle after I got this unit it started to make a clicking sound...it gets pretty annoying when you are sitting right next to it, but I don't think you would mind if it was in a room aways away *I bought this fan because my house didn't have A/C and I had it sit right next to me so I could be cool and game on my computer*

but for the most part, I am glade I bought it...I mean...I could aim it right at me, almost vertically without taking up that much space...and it is pretty safe, but if you had a kid that has really small fingers, just keep an eye on him/her...good fan...

Customer Review: So Great they keep getting Stolen!
Summary: 4 Stars

I like these fans for their small footprint and large circulation volume. I have wall mounted gas heaters and putting one of these on the floor near the heater really helps to move the heat to more of the house. I have had 3 of them and all of them worked well till they were stolen.
My only complaint with them is that after a couple of winters they were naturally a bit grimy from constant use and were difficult to clean. You will use the 2 outlets on the side, too, espcially if you have 2 of them. UPDATE: I bought a Vornado this summer and wish I had got another one of these.
