I needed one of these when my relatively new house's garbage disposal unit broke under my kitchen sink. When replacing the garbage disposal unit, I noticed the new model had to be plugged in to a socket, but my sink only had the wiring and no socket. So, I bought this connector, wired it in a couple minutes, and was able to get the new garbage disposal powered. Perfect, easy, and cheap!
