After years of having the bathroom fan running for hours, even days, the Leviton Preset Minute Electronic Timer solved the problem. No longer do I have to replace or clean the bathroom ceiling fan as often. With the timer, the air is cleaned and the fan shuts off. Great solution. Several people who have come over to the house actually remarked favorably about the fan timer. I am glad I installed it. Providing your switch box has the feed plus ground in it this timer wires up well and works. If the feed is in your ceiling fan (should you want it for a bathroom) your switch box does not have the right lines in it. Namely this device wants black and white lines plus ground and the two lines up to the fan ie more black and white lines. These requirements seem strange. I had all the right lines in my switch box.Customer Review: Works great, even with CFL

I highly recommend this product. We have them in the bathroom (shower light), pantry, closets and bedrooms. Anyplace people have a habit of not turning off the lights. Works great, even with CFL (no flicker). Saves hot water in the shower by letting them know, "you've been in there long enough." Saves electricty by turning off lights that always seem to be on. Easy to install, no problems here.

We had just finished our bathroom remodel, and I wanted something a little more modern looking to control our bathroom fan than the twist-knob timer that was in there previously. This fit the bill perfectly. I think these are better looking than competitor's models whose timer faces stick out 1/4" past the faceplate. My wife and I occasionally forget to turn off our bathroom fans so we installed these to conserve electricity. The timer also lets us run the fan for another 10-15 minutes after showering to reduce moisture from steam.
My circuit breaker is 15A with and this 20A switch has four wires, but only three wires were used and it works fine (it was installed by a professional electrician).
