Cordless LED worklights are definitely useful & practical. They run cool and the bulbs don't blow when dropped. I have found a light that addresses all of the problems with this light. It's called the PODLight, it can be found at [...].
Here are the benefits I found;
12V & 110V recharge included.
Microprocessor controlled recharge, it can be left in either charger & it won't overcharge.
It can be left plugged in to a car and it won't kill the car battery.
A stand up charging base is included. This base makes a great place to store the light and doubles as a stand when using the light.
Multi function includes a flashing safety light.
This light uses multiple angle LEDs. This provides a super bright focal point for the light in addition to a softer light is surrounding areas, a great idea!
Rubber housing definitely protects the light when you drop it.
Included magnetic holder & LARGE hanging hook are great when working under a car.
I found the PODLight to be a much better choice than this light.
