Customer Review: Good at first, just wait

This light was absolutely great at first due using only one AA battery, its battery life, and the size, tactile feel, and amount of light it gave off (thanks to a Cree bulb). I especially liked the one AA battery feature (even though the description says it takes 3, it does not). It felt well made at first:

This light at first was as good as the other reviewers say. Except wait a while and you will find that the switch will no longer work making this flashlight worthless. I had recommended this to many friends and now I feel bad (I am responsible for several sales). I purchased this for $20 a few months ago. I contacted Life Gear's customer service to explain what had happened to me and what my recourse was. I NEVER received a reply to my email which prompted this review along with the poor quality of the flashlight. Also, this flashlight has a year warranty and I was well within this time frame. Again, customer service gave me NO help. A flashlight that cannot even last a year and with 0 customer support is useless.
Edit: Company sent replacement flashlight 2 months later. Slow response but they did finally come through. Have not had a chance to test new light out yet but have changed review from one star to 3 star.
