While the radio bands and alert worked fine, the LED flashlight and reading lamp did not work as expected. I was finally able to turn on the reading lamp if I raised the arm just the right way, but the flashlight never worked.
I returned this item for a refund.

Some of the other great reviews are what convinced me to purchase this item. I think it's well made and works great! It is exactly as advertised and delivery was quick. I live in the south where we have bad weather in almost every season, so I was looking for a device that would provide weather, news, ease of operation, battery/crank charge and found these in the Lifegear radio. This radio is magnificent. No need to search for any other weather alert radio. Works perfect. Weather radio siren alert for when you sleep. Wonderful reception for AM FM & weather bands. Love it.
