Tools and Hardware Reviews of Linear 3089 300 MHz One-Button Visor Remote(See Tech. Details Below)Customer Review: Nice opener Summary: 3 Stars
These are nice openers. They look good. They are small, easy to program, easy to operate, & priced cheap. However, I only gave it a 3 star because I purchased the wrong type for my door, so really I never used it. Compared to others I've used and seen this one is nice. I would recommend it if it works for your door.
Customer Review: A good deal Summary: 3 Stars
This is a good remote. It does the job and is very economical. I used it on a 10 year old Wayne Dalton overhead garage door unit. The frequency was almost, but not quite, the same, so it works but has a limited range. I need to be 10 feet from the door for it to operate, but it works fine within that range.
Customer Review: Excellent buy! Summary: 5 Stars
It worked the first time I programmed the switches. Have been using this for 4 months now and works perfectly.
We have an old remote with the same brand for almost 5 years now and have not replaced the battery. Still in perfect condition.
Highly recommended as good buy.
Customer Review: good product, good value Summary: 4 Stars
Easy to set up (just matched the up/down toggles with my old garage opener), and it worked the first time (and since) with no problems. Doesn't quite seem to have the range as my old model, but thats barely if at all noticeable. Can't beat the price. Shipped quickly. Would definitely recommend.
Customer Review: Basic, simple Summary: 4 Stars
These remotes are exactly what we needed with the code switches, not the signal-syncing kind. The only difficulty is getting the battery cover off, which requires a little strong arming. I used the metal clip to pry off the cover and only suffered a few mishaps. Otherwise, works perfectly.
