I had purchased this item thinking it was a full sized Stanley remote, so you can imagine my surprise when I open my package in the mail to find a little keychain. It turns out the item is actually a keychain size, fully functional version of the original remote. It works as planned but I just wish that this was more apparent. Customer Review: It works.

This remote works with my prehistoric Stanley 1/4 hp cutwire garage door opener. The instructions were clear, and it was easy to program. Not too stylish, and a bit cheap in feel even as far as garage door openers go, but hey; it's a garage door opener.Customer Review: It opens the door unlike the one it replaces.

Its identical to the original unit supplied with the opener 15 years ago. Price was right.
