I purchased this item when it was being offered for $11.99...when I received it (very quickly, I have to say) and opened up the box, it seemed to contain very few parts. I took out the instruction manual and realized right away that it had been sent without a charger. I picked up the sweeper base and immediately noticed something loose rattling around inside. I put together the handle in spite of these things, thinking that maybe the sweeper came charged and I could just try it out see if it would be worth exchanging for a new one...foiled again! The handle in the box was not compatible with the sweeper base. I packed the whole thing back up and set it out for the post man to pick up today. I'm sure some of the factory-reconditioned items are worth the money, but this experience left me with no desire to try to find them. I guess I'd rather try to find something like this at Bed, Bath and Beyond and purchase with a 20% off coupon.
