Customer Review: A mixed bag

I usually either like or dislike a product. In this case its really a mixed bag. It does what its advertise for but some of it is missleading.
pro:
1: metal construction.
2: seems to be an easy install (if i was allowed to)
cons:
1: missleading advertising. claims say you can use it in an appartment or hotel. that is if you want to screw it to the door.
2: does not fit if lock sticks out farther than normal. YOu would need a bushing to expend the depth of it to fit.
3: could not install it because of drilling in door. appartments frown on that.
conclusion:
i never installed it. i thought based on what i read i could perminately mount it or use it in an apartment or hotel. there is no way i could do that without attaching some type of two way tape. i wish i would have known that, i would have not purchased it.
if i had a house then i can see with minor modifications this product would be good to have.
