Adjusts brightness on my lamp from completely off to full brightness. LED indicator makes it easy to locate in the dark. Obviously, it's for incandescent bulbs, so don't expect to be able to dim CLF bulbs with this or any other device for that matter as one reviewer complained. Wiring comes out of the side of the plug so that it doesn't interfere with adjacent power outlets.Customer Review: Perfect for what I need

I have a desktop and a floor lamp in my theater room and was in desperate need of a dimming solution. These are perfect. You just plug one end into the receptacle and the plug the lamp into these. Included is a 6 foot extension enabling you to place the dimmer switch near you for easy access. These work beautifully, are inexpensive and now I can dim the light from my seat.Customer Review: Good Dimmer

Smooth slide and stable power control. The only problem I have is that the lamp has a noise when the dimmer slide is not at the MAX position. But, I do not think it is the problem of a dimmer. I am saying that it is not a built-in dimmer of the original product, so you should be careful of using it especially with the high-power devices. Bought 2 of these to control floor lights that were just out of easy reach to control. The dimmers work excellent and look perfect. Each dimmer has a very small red night light that only comes on when the lamp is completely off to help locate the dimmer control in the dark. Sliding the dimmer is easy to do and does vary the lighting amount. An excellent product.Customer Review: Does what I want it too

I love this lamp dimmer. The black is so much better than the white or cream color because in time, those tend to become very dingy looking. This looks sleek and works well. It helps to not only create a mood, but prepare me for sleep, which I have problems with. It also helps me to prepare my toddler for sleep. I have 1 in practically every room.
