Have used this in a critical area to keep a warmer set for my birds. Has worked great, has more settings than I use, but followed directions setting it up and it works fine. The error rate is probably about 3 degrees which is acceptable for my use. It is on a covered patio and temps get down to about 30 degrees once in a while and it has continued to work well. The only thing I would like is some kind of indicator that the plug is on or off, like a small light.Customer Review: Works as advertised

I bought this product to control a window air conditioner. The thermostat on my conditioner was less than effective, leaving my room too warm at three in the morning, so I bought this product. It plugs into a nearby receptacle and measures the temperature from there and turns on or turns off the air conditioner the same as a programmable whole house thermostat. I bought this to help save on energy and control the temperature in my house. It works great on both aspects. I used to go to bed hot with the swamp cooler blasting away and by morning the temperature was very cold. With the Lux Win100 the temperature stays very comfortable all night long and I don't wake up freezing. I highly recomend this product to anyone who wants to save energy and not freeze at night after the swamp cooler has done its job.Customer Review: It works

I have owned this product for about one month now. It is easy to use and it controls the temperature well. I have a room in an apartment that is not heated by the central system, and an oil filled heater that does not have a thermostat. I tried controlling the heater manually for a while but that got really annoying. Too cold at night and too warm or too cold during the day. So I bought this thermostat and the room has been pleasant ever since.Customer Review: Wonderful product!

Wonderful product. I bought it for my space heater because the thermostat on the heater was not accurate and it used to make a sound while switching the heating element on and off. One day, I was thinking of these 2 problems with my space heater and imagined a product that would solve both problems. Searched on the net and found this product to be just the product I had imagined. I wish the LCD was backlit so that it was easier to read.
