Unfortunately, I needed one of these due to a family member who wouldn't stop messing with my thermostat! I installed it quite easily, and it seems secure. My only complaint is the key is extremely cheap--when I went to unlock it the key bent and almost broke off. Now if I want to change the setting I will have to rip it off the wall!
