Tools and Hardware Reviews of Kamenstein 4536 Perfect Tear Paper Towel Holder, Stainless SteelCustomer Review: Kamenstein Stainless Towel Holder Summary: 4 Stars
Well made unit which securely holds a roll of towels via a spring-type spool. Spool "rachets" so towels can be dispensed one or two at a time. Base is heavy enough to keep the dispenser from moving while pulling and tearing off towels. One-handed use is fairly easy to accomplish, even easier with practice. Some difficulty can occur when roll is small and tight, although racheting mechanism should wear in with use.
Customer Review: The best idea ever! Summary: 5 Stars
As a new Mom I find my self one handed and washing my hands more times a day than I care to think about. This paper towel holder is AWESOME! It is weighted and the bar expands inside the roll to make it truly one hand use. The color is a brushed stainless color perfect for any decor and looks really classy. It's also really easy to change the roll!(which you can also do one handed!) Love this paper towel holder!
Customer Review: Purchased & Rec'd this Item in March, 2011, & It Broke in April, 2011 Summary: 5 Stars
When I rec'd my Kamenstein Perfect Tear Paper Towel Holder on 3/15/11, there was a small dent in it, but I overlooked since I knew that Kamenstein was the best. At first, it worked great, allowing me to pull one sheet with one hand at a time. However, in April, 2011, the inner racket device stopped working as well as the "tear one piece w/one hand at a time."
Be careful when you purchase this product.
Customer Review: Poorly packaged Summary: 1 Stars
Can't really review the item itself as 3 consecutive attempts resulted in each one ariving dented or broken due to improper packing. Item was tossed in a large box with only a couple of loose air pouches.
Had to specifically ask for the 3rd try as the customer service rep wrote after the 2nd one: "we won't bother you with abother one as it will likely arrive damaged as well". I should have believed her.
Customer Review: The best towel holder I've seen Summary: 5 Stars
This is probably the neatest towelholder that I've seen. What I like about it other than the classy look is it's functionality. It is nice and heavy so that it doesn't move when you pull off a paper towel segment; also it has some sort of clicker in the mechanical movement which prevents it from free spinning and allows you to pull off one towel and tear it off with one hand. A very wellbuilt device.
