The anti-roll rubber is a must have, but alone, not for the price.
The mounting screws could be longer, but that's why we have ACE.
Seems like a high price to pay when all you seek are quality filters.
A big D-cell LED flashlight should be capable of adequately illuminating a small room,
but the filters dampen output to a large degree.
Still, in concert, the filters, the rubber, and the mounts make the price-point agreeable.

As said in previous reviews, this is the best spot to get this set by far. The head attachment, while not the reason I bought this set, really comes in handy in so many ways. It stops the light from rolling away from you, and frees up that hand you previously used to hold the light itself. Simple, but effective. The brackets, while not metal, but plastic are tough enough and fit your mag perfectly and work great in my truck.Customer Review: Excellent accessories for full-size MagLite flashlights

This is a great accessory set--maybe it should be featured more prominently. I searched this out because I use the MagLites on a boat and the round case means sooner-or-later it's going to roll over the side. The anti-roll piece (hex-shaped) fits snugly over the front section. The kit also includes two clips to mount and hold the flashlight and a couple of colored lenses for various purposes.Customer Review: Good value for accessories

The brackets are why I bought the pack in the first place, they work great. The anti-roll device surprised me how useful it is, no more scrambling for a moving flashlight while working. I already used the clear lens to replace a scratched lens on a old Maglite, might use the red/blue lenses for astronomy parties. Mag should sell the rubber anti-roll device with all their flashlights. It's so nice to set the flashlight down and not have it roll all around. The flashlight holder is a nice bonus. The colored lenses I haven't used yet. Kind of pricey add-on just to get the anti-roll device, but who wants a flashlight that rolls all over the place.
