Customer Review: Very bright AA flashlight at a brilliant price

I have a couple of the Mag LED flashlights (2&3 D Cell), but wanted something that would fit in the center console of my truck easily, and though it is a little larger than I expected it does a great job. Honestly it has to be the best bang for the buck out there. Made by a company that is known for it's high quality and near bullet proof products. These small flashlights are bright than our 2 d Mag-lights we've just replaced and I believe they batteries are rated at about the same lifetime expectancy.
At this price you have to but at least one. I'll probably be buying another for my wife's car, and will feel comfortable knowing that we have very bright reliable flashlights in both vehicles.

It was not clearly stated in the item description but this flashlight model(the 3-cell AA) is no longer manufactured. I got the flashlight and fortunately realized this before I opened the packaging so I returned it for the Maglite 2-cell AA model on Amazon. I am sure this flashlight(the 3-cell AA) is great as well, it is just not the newest version so it doesn't have all the kinks worked out of it and also does NOT have a multimode electronic switch where you can switch between full power, 25% power, strobe and SOS modes. Just thought I would clarify this that this model is a couple of years (if not a few years) old so I would recommend the newest model which is the 2-cell AA model. This is a great little light. It's noticeably brighter than the Maglite 2 AA LED and only a tad less convenient to carry. It will out shine an old Underwater Kinetics 4-C Krypton dive light I've depended on for over 20 years, and battery cost and life is far superior. Clearly this is not a dive light and it clearly is not the equal of the Maglite D cell LED lights either. As with kitchen knives I try to use the right tool for the right job. The Maglite 3 AA LED is a excellent general purpose flashlight that will not cost an arm and a leg to keep in new batteries. You'll be more than satisfied if you buy one.

Love the flashlight. I purchased two; one for myself and one for a friend. I am a mechanic for a living and this light is perfect for what I do. Three batteries keeps the light working long term. The extra lenght of the light allows you to tuck the light under your arm while keeping your hands free to work. Super bright light emitted from it with no shadow or dead spot in the center of the beam. I have flashlights I have paid a lot more money for that do not out-perform this light. I would recommend it to anyone. By the way, my friend loves his light, too!Customer Review: It's Really Perfect

I check so many forums and you tube reviews , They says Fenix is better. Its correct. But for this price, its perfect. I have Mini Maglite 2 AA , I cant even compare battery life for both. This product's battery really long lasts. It is too bright, more than enough.I may say turning dark into daylight. For 20 meters its affectingly bright. A little bit bulky, but its not big problem. Focusing is not same like 2AA maglite, but enough.
For me this product is more than enough. Its strongly recommended.
