This is a great light for around the house or in the car. Very bright light for all types of applications. Whiter, brighter light than a bulb light. Have not tried this but it is supposed to last up to 79 hrs on 3 batteries which is significantly longer than a similar 2 battery light of similar design. Not sure if they still manufacture this light but if they don't it is a shame because it is excellent.

I really wanted to like this mini LED flashlight. When it worked, it was great. Really bright, small and portable. When summer came around the flashlight stopped working. I thought the batt needed replacing. However, all three batteries melted and fused within the housing. Can't get them out for the life of me. Only thing left was to chuck this thing. My favorite Maglite.
It has a brighter beam than the 2AA cell Maglite LED model, and also has a longer battery life.
Believe it or not, it is brighter than the 2D or 3D Maglite LED flashlights.
Everyone who has seen me using this 3AA Maglite LED has wanted one for their own use or has later given one as a gift.
And that speaks for itself.

I had previously purchased several LED flashlights. I took them back they simply were not bright enough. I thought that Mag may have solved the problem. They have! This little AA 3 watt LED blew away even my two D cell. It even came close to my six D cell. I liked it so much I decided to buy a Mag 2 D cell LED. I got this light because I'm a Realtor and go into a lot of distressed properties in my area. The light works perfectly because it's more white in color and allows me to see conditions that exist in a home that a yellowish light could either hide or misrepresent. Maglite's are always durable and dependable, I've used them for years.
