Tools and Hardware Reviews of MK Diamond 158189 MK-100 1-1/2-Horsepower 10-inch Wet Tile SawCustomer Review: Mildly dissapointed Summary: 3 Stars
We have had difficulty keeping this thing cutting square, although it adjusts somewhat easily. Also, the guides on the table came apart on us and thankfully our tool rep was able to modify and repair it so we didn't have to pay $178 for a new table. I'm a little disappointed that we paid so much for a good saw and have had troubles with it. Will probably go with the 101 next time since I haven't heard of complaints with it. This saw is also limited on tile size, and as 16 x16 and 24 x 24 tiles are so much more popular we find ourselves making jigs to run it through this saw. They have an available kit for for the larger tile, we just haven't wanted to pay the extra again. Like I said, we'll upgrade next time.
Customer Review: Diamond MK100 Tile Saw Summary: 1 Stars
Home Depot rents the Diamond tile saws, one model up from this one so assumed that if they are good enough for rental and associated heavy use its right for me. The saw arrived and we immediately found that the reset button which is located on the motor fell right into the motor and was not attached to the housing. I returned it without trying it. Amazon wants you to pay postage and they will refund it due to being defective. Well, this big and heavy box was UPS $120 to ship. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a return label, much better idea! They get far better rates. In conclusion, the saw probably is ideal, just not this one. I got a Ridgid instead, cheaper and miter's and is great!
Customer Review: MK Diamond MK-100 tile saw Summary: 2 Stars
You would think that MK Diamond would have the table alignment down pat by now, but they don't. We couldn't even get the center grove in the table lined up with the saw blade while keeping the back of the table at a 90 deg. to the saw blade. Table bearings are very poor quality, won't hold lubrication for more than 10 minutes making it very hard to push table when sawing tile. The 45 Deg cutting attachment that comes with the saw is useless because of its ill fit on the table. Forget this saw spend a little more money and go buy yourself a DeWalt tile saw even if it's a refurbished one. I am very dissatisfied with this saw.
Customer Review: Awesome saw! Summary: 5 Stars
Bought this saw a year ago and love it. 3 blades and 25,000 sq. ft. later, it still runs smooth. Tray hold enough water to last a tile setter hours. It is very quiet and runs smoothly. I have one minor complaint. I have used the he** out of this saw and the bearings that attach the tray to the glide arm are sticking. Once they have been oiled, they are good for a few days however. Saw is heavy and akward! If it's going to be used on a regular basis, it's nice to have an extra hand to carry it. One more thing...... get the stand! Bought it to replace the MK606.

Bought this saw last Fall........ Built to last a lifetime! Very Heavy Duty. The work going into the design of this unit is second to none........May cost an weight a little More than the 3/4 horse power units, BUT this Unit has Power to spare, no worry about burning up the motor, and with all the extra's, .......A GREAT Value! This tool will be around for your childrens children to use........ Buy One you will not be sorry.......except for others wanting to use it over the weekend.......HA HA HA.......!
