Customer Review: Good for what it does

The back of the package has a very helpful chart showing which of the various Liquid Nails products are suited for bonding which materials (this product is called a "Multi-Purpose" adhesive, as opposed to an Epoxy or a "Super Adhesive," which probably means cyanoacrylate, like SuperGlue). If the manufacturer had included a picture of that in this listing, I would have given it five stars. As it is, I was guessing when I bought this. I used it to affix some dense foam-cushion floor matting (such as might be used in a daycare setting, or in a workshop) to a piece of red oak for a yoga "egg" that my wife requested (a workout aid that elevates the body). So far it seems to have worked well. After letting it cure for a few days, I sanded the assembly and the adhesive remained very firm, with no tear-out or weakening. However, while the chart on the back of the package recommends this for bonding wood to foam, it does NOT recommend it for bonding wood to plastic, ceramic, metal or masonry, e.g. NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: PLEASE ADD IMAGE SHOWING THE "SURFACE MATCHING CHART" ON THE BACK OF THE PRODUCT PACKAGING
