These magnets are very strong, and fun to play with. Magnets are even stronger when placed on a refridgerator. Strong enough to hold a note on the fridge and know that you will never lose that important message. You can also use these magnets to store some hand tools on the wall of a metal workbench.
Description of Magcraft NSN0567 3/8-Inch by 3/8-Inch Rare Earth Rod Magnets, 8-Count
Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. These rod magnets are 0.375 inch (9.5mm) diameter and 0.375 inch (9.5mm) long. They are magnetized through the length. They are composed of grade 40 neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Their individual pull force is approximately 12 lbs. Max Working Temperature - 176 F (80 C). Magnets may chip and crack if allowed to snap together.Fasteners Tools
