Customer Review: Just what I needed

After some toying around with the Magcraft NSN0570 1/8-Inch Rare Earth Cube Magnets, 100-Count, trying to get them to hold up 2oz steel tins of spices on the fridge, I knew I needed to go with something stronger. These do the trick perfectly; one magnet even holds up a tin filled with peppercorns. For this application, I find that they pretty reliably stay stuck to the fridge and not the tin, so I don't think I'm going to need to employ glue.
These are very strong magnets and, because they're so thin, a bit difficult to separate from one another. I've found I need to employ something non-metal to slide the top magnet off and flip it up off the stack. A used Amazon gift card works well.
So far I've had no issues with breakage, as I've been careful not to let the magnets slam into things from any kind of distance. They're not toys, and I'm not sure why anyone would think they were.

Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. These disc magnets are 0.500 inch (12.7mm) diameter and 0.063 inch (1.6mm) thick. They are magnetized through the thickness. They are composed of grade 40 neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Their individual pull force is approximately 2 lbs.
