Great for people who have too many numbers in their heads, make all the combos in you life the same from now on. Works well for school groups or others who need access to the same locked cabinet. I order in lots of 6, and end up giving them to friends when they ask. Nice brass and it gets a good patina over time, classic. Wanna know my combo? Bought 2 of these less than a year ago for my sailboat. Had to cut both of them off, so corroded that they could not be opened. Another beef, the cylinders do not have a stop at the 0000 position which would make it easier to dial in a combo in the dark. This lock appears to be the same lock my dad used on his boat for 40 or so years, and it always worked smoothly. I bought a dozen of them to lock different things around our farm (equipment, sheds, gates, etc.), so we could have a single combination to remember. They are easy to set, and easy to open. I bought this lock a few months ago, and couldn't be more happy with it. I was a little worried about the smart combination feature not working as advertised, but it works great. During my 20 years in the USAF, a stronger version of this lock was avaliable and usedd. The lock's combination is easy to change, and works as advertised. The one thing I don't like is the fact that you need a tiny key to set the combination and keeping up with where you put that key may be a pain.
