I purchased two of these door security bars for my home at a great price on Amazon. Shipping was very fast and items were received promptly. Operation of the bars is very simple and they were installed in minutes. The bars are readily adjustable according to door knob height and the non-skid foot base worked well on wood floors. The bars feel sturdy, giving an extra feeling of quality and security. Here in Orlando,fl people homes doors are being kicked in in broad daylight and being held hostage or killed while they clean out your home. this bar is fantastic in holding your front door closed ,they cant kick your door open with this bar.. i have tile floors in front of my door inside.its works great on tile. i cant speak for other floors. but this and the alarmed wedge are excellent stopping power against home invaders and it gives me time to get my gun for my unwanted guest.Customer Review: the metal clip inside broke

the metal clip within the bar that allows height adjustments broke when I tried to open a door that was secured by the bar. I'm gonna try and salvage the bar by going to Home Depot store and see if I can drill a hole all the way through the bar and place a bolt and nut in the bar to hold it in that position and to give it more strength....I would not recommend this product since it broke so easily with little effort...The product is also made in China...like everything elseCustomer Review: Security Bar Falls Short

Although it props the front door with sufficient strength as to give me more time to prepare in the event of a forced break in, as rare an occaision as that may be, it falls short as far as the billed dual function goes. The dual function of this device was to also be extensible enough to use on your sliding patio door. I guess I've got larger than standard sliding doors because it fell about 1" short of the handle. Quite disappointing that's why I won't buy a second one.Customer Review: Good product.....but

I thought this was a good product but it arrived with a part missing so I had to return it. The best part of this whole experience was the return process. It actually worked the way the company said it would and my money was refunded promptly. Kudos to Amazon!!!!!I work in a field that deals with consumer issues with various internet companies and I must say that Amazon is a standout. I would not hesistate to order from them in the future based on this experience.
