I've used disc locks exclusively for the past 5 years or so. I bought two of these because I needed some more. However, the two that I received stick in the open position for some odd reason - both of them. It's as if there is friction against the bar from contracting when I attempt to turn the key. This started from day 1 of use. It's really more annoying than much else since I have to give the key a few tugs each time I want to close the lock. It's as if it was not machined well. I've never had this problem with any of the other disc locks that I've had. I expected flawless performance based upon the other reviews, but my experience hasn't been so rosy. I would now return them if I hadn't kept them so long.
