I asked for a green lock and a silver one came. I wanted a bright lock that would be easy to identify. The silver lock that came does not even look like the image that was posted and it is heavy which is a concern for long hauls. I went back and re-read the fine print and to be fair, it does say that you are not allowed to pick a color. But, at the top of the page, it allows you to click on a color so it is a little misleading.Customer Review: good locks

Received two purple locks in a timely fashion. One of the locks jammed and could not be made workable. This was probably my own fault, because I did not follow the instructions precisely when trying to set my own code. The other one works fine and held up well during a recent international trip. So my advice is: read the directions all the way through before moving any part of the lock, and always have a spare one on hand.Customer Review: I got a pink pair

I wanted to review this product mainly to let people know that I did get a neon colored pair (pink) since it seems like most of the bad reviews came from people getting nickel colored locks. I didn't mind getting a nickel colored pair so I ordered anyway.
Locks were easy to set, and seems like it would not be easy to get accidently reset (sometimes happens on other locks), though I have yet to actually travel with it.

The first order was sent in an envelope and fell out during delivery, so I got an empty package. Second order came but was not neon, but nickel. Very heavy. Called customer service and they authorized a free return. The model number is the same as for the neons, so I suspect that MasterLock has replaced the neon with the nickel.
I am also sending them back because I wanted something more visible.

Neither my husband nor I can reset the combinations on these locks.When you turn the hasp as instructed on the information sheet,the metal shaves off pieces of the plastic inside the cylinder. Of the 4 locks I purchased, only one was successfully reset. The other three now do not open with any combination.I went out and purchased keyed locks to replace them. Totally useless!
