I bought this product, because I accidently locked myself out of my condo. So, now I hooked this up to under my patio table and it works fine. It worked great for my purposes. My daughter kept locking herself out of her condo. This brings peace of mind knowing she can access the extra key without having to call anyone to let her in. It sits on the back porch away from prying eyes and very convenient.
